Syclone Typhoon SoGT S-10 Tailgate Striker
thingiverse
Replacement for the plastic piece that usually breaks on the tailgate striker. I changed the design to perfectly fit the lock mechanism to prevent the dreaded creaking we're all familiar with. The side closer to the taillamp is also larger to increase strength. 1. Print two halves per side. 2. Either epoxy them to the striker, or use electric tape. OR both. I recommend electrical taping them first. Tap it a bit with the tailgate to make alignment marks. Adjust the striker perfectly to the center of the latch. Remember depth is important too! Make sure everything is aligned exactly, then epoxy the inside of the halves and electrical tape them on starting from the thinner side to the thick side. Let dry overnight, then slam away! Leave the tape on. It'll give you a good indication of alignment. You can always print another pair if you break them.
