This low poly 3D model of a Sycamore tree was crafted using Blender and features polygon-shaped leaves without alpha mapping, resulting in a high-quality appearance. It includes a simple rig to manipulate branches, with an editable particle system controlling branch/leaf density. The leaf shader is also modifiable for a reddish tint, simulating autumn/fall foliage. Although the shader is double-sided, it can be reduced to single-sided if desired. Nodes for color adjustments are highlighted in red for easy identification. The model is compatible with Blender 2.79 or higher and is modelled for cycles. The Sycamore tree can reach heights of up to 35m, and it's native to the mountains of Central, Southern, and Southeastern Europe, as well as the Caucasus region. Although not native to the British Isles, it is one of their most common trees. Note that in North America, the tree commonly referred to as Sycamore is actually a species of plane (Platanus occidentalis). Don't forget to check out this model as a base for your own creations!
