Edit 6/10/24;I have updated the file to include a bellcrank system and symmetrical suspension. I have also updated the shock towers to accommodate some clearance issues. You will need the mesh tool installed in cura for splitting the model into parts. I have uploaded pictures for the best print layout. Enable special modes print sequence ONE at a time. The connecting links are templates for making your own links. The upper control links can be printed and used, but the steering links will need to have proper ball ends. I recommend doing rod links and ball ends for both simply for wear and tear. This is a custom high clearance system to convert an SCX10 to a trophy truck. Got the idea from the proline twin _beams. But cant justify the 100$ and figured I could do it a different way. This is measured out to use traxxas suspension. I have included modified high clearance A-arms that also match the the width of sxc10 and 10ii rear axles. you can use any of the traxxas A arms and casters. This is the full setup including rods and rod ends to get 8 degrees of camber for cornering. I recommend printing in ABS.Can be printed as is or for best results it will split into each part with mesh tools.Use all the traxxas stock hardware for rustler/slash 2wd front end.For the steering link, an aluminum servo horn and custom length rods. The upper links and rods from the front of the scx10 should be the correct length. since you wont need those anymore.let me know what you think should change.I recommend using rear trailing arms from an axial bomber or wraith to set the rear end out. Or moving the center skid back, adding a forward battery tray.
