SX Mini case for broken battery door
thingiverse
Case for SX Mini with pocket clip: don't let a poorly designed battery door ruin a $200 mod. Print the files in the orientation shown to maximize strength; supports are designed to be easy to remove and won't affect the final product even with minor defects. After printing the clip, use a heat gun or other tool to bend it downwards as seen in the picture. It may take some finishing work to get the clip in tightly or glued in place. You might need to heat up the bottom-front retaining piece and bend it outwards slightly to fit the mod inside. Filaments used: PLA (red), PLA (black), PETG (clear) (had to glue this section on after printing because it easily separated), PLA (black), PLA (red). To achieve a matte finish, spray the case with a coat of frosted glass spray paint.
