Swytch Electric Bike Pedal Sensor Adapter

Swytch Electric Bike Pedal Sensor Adapter

thingiverse

I bought a Swytch electric bike conversion kit. The pedal sensor that mounts to the bike and measures how much you're pedalling didn't fit and I was advised to butcher it to make it fit by their support team. I created this adapter to bring the sensor to the correct depth of 3mm from the magnetic pedal ring and make it easy to attach to the tubular bike frame. You have to remove the hinge and cut the supports down leaving a couple of mm proud of the base of the sensor. The hinge supports fit into cutouts on either side of the base of this adapter. The whole thing is then secures to the frame with two of the cable ties that came with the Swytch Kit. Feel free to adapt this design to your particular bike frame by changing the frame mount shape or height of the model. Caveat... I printed this on an Ender 3 Pro and it fitted perfectly but I am new to 3D printing. I then found I needed to recalibrate my e-steps and flow rate so its possible someone with a well set up printer will find it doesn't fit so well!
