I created my very first 3D design. This is the original lightsaber you get in the popular online game Star Wars: The Old Republic. As this project continues, it will undergo significant changes as I refine various parts to make them more suitable for slicing and printing with precision. For now, though, it is print-ready. It's a bit on the small side, measuring around 7.5 inches in length (most average hilts are approximately 11 inches, according to wiki statistics). In order to achieve a complete assembly, I resorted to using glue in two locations. Fortunately, the remaining components simply connect through friction with no need for adhesives. In due time, all parts will join seamlessly without the aid of additional materials. This is just one part of an extensive lineup of hilts from Star Wars: The Old Republic that I aim to create. Printing Settings Printers Used Flashforge Creator Pro Rafting Irrelevant Details - doesn't impact outcome Supports Provided - always included for structural stability Resolution: extremely detailed at 200 microns Infill Ratio: set at a moderate 20% Additional Notes - only supports were applied to parts 1 and 2. Two identical posts are necessary to complete the build.
