Such walkers were prominently used by Zakuul military during and after the Eternal Empire conquest both in defensive capacity on their homeworld and offensive capacity elsewhere in the galaxy. Tyth's Gauntlet was a prominent combat tactic of the Knights of Zakuul that required the use of the walkers. Following the assault on Odessen and the death of Empress Vaylin, the Eternal Alliance gained victory over Zakuul forces and a number of Eternal Empire Walkers were reappropriated by the Alliance and later used during the War on Iokath. Behind the scenes Eternal Empire Walkers appear in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire as both enemy NPCs and mount which can be used by players. One such walker is called the Talon of Izax is deployed on the battlefield near the Shrine of Healing during the Invasion of Voss.
