Sword stand for larger sword

The Beginning My son snagged a massive sword at a garage sale. Since it lacked a display stand, I decided to check Thingiverse to see if there was a cool display stand already available. Unfortunately, most sword display stands are designed for samurai swords, not larger European swords - or so it turned out. The Design I fired up AutoSCAD and created a great sword stand for my son. After some tinkering, I ended up with nine different patterns to choose from. The one in the pictures is pattern five, as my son liked it best. He wanted it printed in black, but I think silver, gold, or wood would be better - who knows? The Future If you want, feel free to create your own pattern (share if you do). I'd love to see pics of swords on this sword stand.
