Sword of Omens (Dagger) ...or Fridge Magnet

I wanted to create a unique dagger hilt for a personal project, but couldn't find anything that met my expectations. Therefore, I decided to design something myself, and if I was going to invest time in modeling, it might as well be an impressive design. After Printing The supported grip has some walls next to the protruding tabs that need to be carefully removed after printing. So far, when oriented correctly, everything but the crossguard should print without support. Refrigerator Magnetic Blade The magnetic blade, cut from a fridge magnet, should accommodate a 4x10x20mm neodymium bar magnet at the tip and a 15mm dia x 2.75mm h disc at the base. This allows me to hold up my plastic-only dagger on my refrigerator, and once I add electronics and a battery to the handle, I might need to upgrade to a stronger tip magnet. I'll keep you updated. I made some holes for alignment when gluing it together, which should accept lengths of 2.85mm filament as pegs. I will check if they need to be adjusted after my test print finishes. How I Designed This Design Refinements: Countless additional hours were invested in refining the design. Original Design Time: Around 10-14 hours using Fusion 360. I used this instructable for a lot of the detail reference: http://www.instructables.com/id/ThunderCats-Sword-of-Omens-Dagger-Form I really liked how his dagger turned out, and it inspired my own design.
