Here is my rewritten text: I'm excited to share my latest project with you, which started as a side project that turned into something truly unique! After searching for a dagger hilt that fit my vision, I realized none existed, so I decided to create one myself. And if I was going to invest the time in modeling it, I might as well make it exceptional. 2017-01-24: My project has officially left the prototype phase and is now complete! I'm thrilled with how all the parts print and fit together seamlessly. One minor issue still needs attention - detachable mounting for The Eye of Thundera - but most users will likely glue it in place, making it a static prop. I've successfully implemented gesture-activated "Sight Beyond Sight" functionality! Check out the demo here: https://gfycat.com/LittleFlakyBlacklemur To enhance the design, I uploaded an updated version of the full blade with a base magnet and made minor edits to the Crossguard body to improve clearance for the blade insertion. Additionally, I added cutouts in the Crossguard body to accommodate a small disc magnet, allowing for quick-changing between blades. 2016-09-19: To refine my design, I created threaded and hollowed versions of the handle/pommel, swiveling quillions, and a crossguard cavity to support electronics for lighting The Eye. However, some clearance modification is still needed in the mating points between the blade and rainguard area - users may need to shave or sand to achieve a smooth fit. 2016-08-30: I was thrilled when omicron22 created an Eye of Thundera that perfectly fits my dagger!
