This is a 2½" dust hose connector designed for female connections, featuring a swiveling mechanism that prevents kinks in your dust collection hoses and streamlines movement around the shop floor without dislodging from the sweep handle. It's ideal for dust hoses with fixed ends, which can't rotate and require this adapter to maintain smooth functionality. No special support is required during printing, allowing for hassle-free production. When assembling the connector by sliding the sleeve over the male component and gluing it onto the female one, apply epoxy glue only to the female component, not to the sleeve itself. This ensures that the mating faces can rotate freely as you assemble. For added smoothness, generously apply wax to both mating faces before gluing. As you attach the components, rotate them until snug yet free-moving.
