I require a robust hanger for my sailboat that can withstand heeling motion without compromising safety. Ideally, I need a swiveling hanger to prevent items from falling off the hook when the boat tilts. This product seems to meet all those requirements! Key Features: * Three available hook sizes: Standard, Medium, and Large (the photo depicts Standard) * Two base options: one features adhesive backing for 3M tape or glue-on installation * Two dowels: one for the glue-on base and another for the screw-on base Printing is a straightforward process with minimal support required. I use a Cura slicing software with an 80% triangle infill setting to ensure strength. For the dowel, I print it on a small raft. In my next print, I may adjust the settings to 50% infill at the bottom and 100% near the top for enhanced durability. Installation is relatively simple: apply a dollop of epoxy in the middle, followed by a ring of hot glue around the edges. Press the base firmly against a clean, roughed area of the fiberglass hull. Before installation, sand the base with 60 grit sandpaper to ensure a secure bond. This approach has worked for me so far!
