Swivel Clip with Cap
prusaprinters

This is a replacement swivel clip for my popup camper. It's used to hold the exterior door in place. I found that the others online weren't strong enough for my application so I made my own. I am including the files so that folks can modify them as needed. Please ignore my sloppy Fusion365 files.

To change the depth, find the second extrusion (which should be 7mm in the file) and modify that. This is probably not the best way to do this, but it's the only way I know how.

I set the hole to accept M5 bolts or 10/32 in Freedom Units. I also set an additional 3mm smaller hole inside for the bolt to snug against and be solid.

I printed this in Inland Tough PLA at 220 degrees and they are rock solid. This was with 100% infill and took about 15 minutes for two caps and one clip. Supports are needed, print as oriented in the .3mf file for best strength.

Export the cap and clip separately, the cap is slightly off the build plate if you don't. Sorry about that!
