SwitchPin pinball controller for Nintendo Switch
thingiverse
I was fed up with using the standard controller for playing pinball on my Nintendo Switch, so I created this, the SwitchPin! No modifications or soldering required, just pop in the Joy-Cons and start playing! These were printed on my Prusa i3 Mk3 using Hatchbox PLA. I highly recommend setting the quality settings since there are some tight tolerances involved. Be prepared to do a bit of sanding to get everything perfect. The springs used come from Harbor Freight, specifically the 3/8" x 5/8" springs in their 200-piece assorted spring set (part #67562 on harborfreight.com). Assembly is done with M3 screws. I recommend drilling and tapping the frames, while the center parts use nuts. The M3 screws used are 20mm and 25mm long. To prevent it from sliding around, there are small wells on the bottom for rubber pads. I used hemispherical ones from this pack (B07MND2CGG on amazon.com). I also made a video of the whole project, check it out here (https://youtu.be/cZmcty6b4fA). I decided not to sell these, but would certainly appreciate a tip if you find them useful and as fun as I do. You can send one via paypal.me/geekytom.
