Switching Power Supply Mounts for CG-1500 Box
thingiverse
Christmas light enthusiasts (like me) often use CG-1500 demarcation boxes to house the power supplies for their pixel strings. To mount them, you can buy specialized kits, but being a thrifty individual myself, I designed a set of printable brackets. Attach these brackets to the box of the power supply with 4mm screws (two per mount) and then attach the brackets to the posts in the CG-1500 using #6x1/2 self-drilling screws. I've included box STEP and IGES files so you can modify them as needed. Print Settings Printer: Folger Tech 2020 I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: I prefer PETG for its durability, but any material should work. If possible, avoid PLA due to its brittleness and potential lack of long-term durability.
