Switching Lever Length
grabcad
The project showcases a Dynamic Simulation created in Autodesk Inventor 2014, with animation and renderings realized using Inventor Studio. The action is driven by an imposed rotation of the cam (240 degrees per second) and features a mechanism involving cams, levers, and a golden ball. Upon two rotations, the cam pauses to allow adjustment of the L arm via screw rotation before resuming. This results in varying lever lengths, creating unexpected movement in the golden ball. The main movements are graphically represented in "Output Grapher.jpg," with colors used for associations. To view the simulation, users must download files and open them in Inventor 2014 or later versions, accessing Environments/Dynamic Simulation and clicking the Play button. Users can choose between 5000 or 1000 images for the living clip.
