Switchfector(Improved) - Kossel Magnetic Effector with Z Endstop
pinshape
I'm looking for an extremely accurate probe and I've had enough of unreliable sensors. This setup uses a standard microswitch and works beautifully. It's an updated version with enhanced features, making it more like an SUV. The original design flexed during printing, so I thickened the entire structure. I also upgraded to larger N50 magnets, ensuring I never lose my rods again. Uses M3 screws for assembly, 16mm for E3D V6 hotends, and 10mm strong magnets. Side holes are provided for fan installation or RJ45 mounting. The package includes 24 x M3 set screws and essential magnetic components: * 6 x N50 Super Strong Round Disc Cylinder Magnets (Rare Earth Neodymium) - 10mm x 8mm + Available at: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6655281684.html?orderId=67170172037473 * 6 x Round Neodymium Countersunk Ring Magnets (N50) - 10mm x 5mm with a 3mm hole + Available at: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6452478679.html?orderId=65439776317473 To assemble the probe, place the large magnet at the bottom of the cups and secure it with one set screw from the front. Then, attach the small magnet to the top and add a second set screw on top. Repeat this process six times. The mount is specifically designed for E3D V6 hotends but should be compatible with most other models. For my setup, I use an RJ45 connector for connecting the fan, part cooler fan, Z-switch, and thermistor. Find more information at: https://github.com/glennswest/switchfector.git
