cults3d
After using my V4 Switchbox for a while I decided the sliding mechanism, though cool, needed work. This is essentially the same on the outside, but now has a hinged lid to allow access to the Switch from the top. It's much more secure-- less likely to drop your Switch or game cartridges. It also has a slot built in to stand up the screen during play.
I've revised the clasp since the photos here. Check out the rendered versions for the new look.
This version prints on a 200x200mm bed. You will need:
M3 screws, 5mm x 10 for assembly
M3 screws, 20mm x 2 for the hinges
glue, CA or other. I use contact cement. I recommend gluing the shell halves together, not relying just on the screws.
thin foam sheets from any craft store to make the cushions.
