2018-05-27: This project is no longer viable, and I'm not invested in making it functional. Don't even attempt to print it; it won't yield the desired results. Mod 1: The charging hole has been removed, and Lid 3 now serves as a game cart drawer that holds four games. Mod 2: The latch has been replaced with a push-button release, but I'm still refining the tolerances. I haven't published this modification yet because I need to resolve the issues surrounding the plastic axle versus a screw for added strength, and how to install the spring under the button. At this point, this is merely a proof-of-concept design, and I haven't printed these changes. In fact, I plan to make numerous tweaks before moving forward, including converting Lid 4 into another cartridge drawer like Lid 3. Next, I aim to rework the bottom pieces to eliminate the current clasp and either add a button to the top edge for a catch or install a rotary catch on the top face. Additionally, I intend to increase the thickness of the bottom by approximately 8mm to accommodate storage of JoyCon grips. I can't guarantee that any of these modifications will be completed or print properly due to my reliance on STL modifying tools that often produce poor results when slicing.
