Switch RCM Jig Storage Cover
thingiverse
Before I got a 3D Printer, I had bought an "RCM Jig" at the recommendation of a Nintendo Switch CFW guide I followed. I checked the guide just now and can't seem to find the link, so maybe this particular seller is no longer in operation. But I've included photos of the jig to help identify it. In any case, I wanted to store it in my Switch carrying case, since the CFW has to be booted from a payload sent via the RCM exploit. So in case I was ever away with my Switch and needed to boot into CFW, I wanted to be able to do so. I ended up storing it on the rail of one of the wrist straps, and carrying that with the Switch, which did feel more protective. But the thin contact wires were still exposed and I didn't like that. Fast forward to today, and I have designed and printed a storage cover to solve the problem. It is designed specifically for the jig I have, though it may work for others. Mine has a notch in the rail interface on either side that I'm taking advantage of to hold it securely. So if your jig doesn't have those, or they are in a different spot along the rail interface, then this may not work. However the design is simple and should be easy to modify. If not leave a comment and I'll see what I can do to upload a file that's easier to modify. It's rather small, so I printed it in a very bright color to make it easy to spot if accidentally dropped or something.
