I had two major issues with the standard Graber i3 frame: 1 - The LCD cable was woefully short to fit it neatly into its intended location 2 - I was thoroughly fed up with hearing every fan noise when the print was in standby mode So, I developed a custom solution to hold the LCD above the electronic box and manually switch between three functions - namely the hotend fan, electric box fan, and lights. My printer is always situated below me when I'm standing, therefore this LCD position is quite comfortable and you can even rotate the display in the Z axis.
