Switch_Outlet Plate Cover With Echo Dot mount
thingiverse
Just created a DIY Echo Dot mount to reclaim some counter space. Had to split the part in two so it could be printed on my MP Select Mini V2 3D printer, and it works decently well. I've uploaded both the STL and FreeCAD files for anyone who wants to use them. The end result is far from perfect - it's not a design masterpiece. I'm still searching for a better software than FreeCAD, which frankly doesn't impress me at all. As someone used to working with SolidWorks and Inventor, I did the bare minimum to get this project done. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to add proper support in the back or make it fit as snugly as I would have liked.
