Switch Joycon channel dual-angle reversible stands
thingiverse
A quick Tinkercad remix of a 45-degree channel now stands as the Nintendo Switch's ultimate accessory. Inspired by Blunty's video tutorial, which can be found at https://youtu.be/gsus63Wb1FY, I give credit where credit is due - subscribe to Blunty's channel if you find his content informative and engaging. For up-to-date print settings, refer back to the original file this remix was based on. My specific print details include using CocoonCreate (formerly known as Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.0) with a z-brace mod and rear mount cooler shroud. I chose CocoonCreate brand PLA in grey for its durability and vibrant color. Cura 15.04.6 was used to ensure the original model dimensions were retained, and print settings included a 0.2mm layer height, three shells (1.2mm outer layer), 1.2mm top and bottom layers, no support structures, 50mm/s speed, and 100% fan usage. However, printing as is after opening in Cura resulted in droop under the lip of the attachment portions, so I recommend using custom support or turning off auto-gen supports if you're only working with Cura. If anyone successfully prints this for their Switch, please share your fitment experience in the comments below. Since I didn't modify any dimensions from the original attachment portion, it should theoretically work seamlessly.
