Switch for USB dongle hardware Security key

In our office, passing security keys between PCs was inconvenient due to incompatible switches. To solve this issue, I designed a custom PCB using KiCad software. The homebuilt board features a heat transfer process and a rotary switch with 4 contacts and 3 positions. The case is laser-cut and folded. As a first prototype, it works well for USB hardware keys but not for USB flash memory due to cable noise over long distances. For the next version, I would connect the copper area of the printed circuit board to the metal housing of the USB connectors for better "shielding".
