There's a small plastic spacer attached to the handlebars, hidden inside a socket. After removing it, I slipped a compact toggle switch into its space and sealed it in place with an extra-strong adhesive. This customized setup works as a reliable garage door controller. It matches perfectly for use with momentary push button microswitches.
