Switch cover - for surface-mounted box

Most light switches are recessed into the wall, but sometimes a switch box is mounted directly on it. In that case the cover plate protrudes into empty space, its corners digging into every jacket that passes by. The solution lies in using a cover plate that doesn't extend beyond the sides of the box. This way, it won't interfere with passing jackets or get damaged. Switch boxes come in different sizes and shapes, so the attached SCAD file is designed to be adaptable to a variety of boxes, offering flexibility for various installations.
