I'm sick of constantly unplugging my printer just to turn it off, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and came up with this solution instead of resorting to drilling holes in the machine to add a wire switch. This contraption can be mounted directly to the front of the device using existing mounting holes already in place. The single pole, single throw switch used is a standard issue type, paired with a non-contact momentary push button that acts as a reset, given that the actual reset is embedded deep within the circuit board housed inside the base. You can easily source both the switch and button from RadioShack or any other electronics store.
