I upgraded my power supply on my A8 to 400W from 250W just because I had two extra units lying around. The upgrade allows me to turn off the power when needed, and I preferred this option over others that would require more complicated wiring. I chose a 125VAC 10A round 20mm switch and connected it to a standard three-prong plug adapter.
