Switch bar holder
thingiverse
This mount is specifically designed to hold a standard electric switch on either a handlebar or a bicycle frame. I deliberately crafted it to position the light switch comfortably within easy reach of your hand. For this purpose, I employed an extremely popular type of switch commonly found in computer power supplies. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.15mm Notes: This design is intended for handlebars with a diameter of 22.5mm, which suits the majority of bicycle handles. A crucial aspect to note when printing this item is that you can achieve excellent results without support material. To ensure a strong bridge, I added a thin layer between the wire hole and the switch body volume. When using a layer thickness of 0.15mm, it will naturally generate one layer of support. I personally print it with PLA filament, which offers sufficient strength to securely hold its place on the handlebar without needing additional reinforcement. If you choose to use another type of filament, you may need to adjust the design by removing the grip and attaching the holder from the side of the bar. Post-Printing Requirements: To secure this mount in place, you will require a small M3 bolt measuring 5-7mm in length (no nut is necessary).
