Connecting a power line to standard power supplies too frequently results in precarious design choices. To ensure safe connection of a standard wire to a Prusa I3 Steel, I developed this protective box. It securely holds the plug's connector and a 2-pole switch, allowing users to turn on and off without pulling a plug. Printed from colorless material, internal LEDs clearly indicate that the printer is powered. The box firmly clamps onto the metal frame of the i3 steel when tightening the screws. Cylindrical hex-screws in M3 x 35mm provide secure fastening. This design can be easily printed without support.
