I built my own SwissGear backpack strap tensioner because the original one of mine snapped. The problem was that it had this annoying plastic stopper at the end that prevented the strap from sliding all the way into the buckle. So, I created a modified version with separate sections, and once you slide the strap through, you just seal the side with super glue.
