Swiss Tech Headlamp 18650 Battery Case
thingiverse
I bought a Swiss Tech 500-lumen headlamp from Walmart and liked it so much I decided to make it my main headlamp. This is a pretty rudimentary design and requires the lid to be printed in a flexible filament so you can pull it off. I drilled a couple of holes in my helmet to run the cable to the back and secured the battery pack and headlamp to the helmet with 4 M3 screws that I cut down with a Dremel to keep it as flush to the helmet as I could. You need to do some post-processing work on this as the motherboard doesn't fit flush due to the components on the bottom of it. you may also need some small screws to screw down the battery case. I used a soldering iron to weld mine into place.
