thingiverse
+++ Work In Progress +++ In 1944 Hans Hilfiker designed a clock for the Swiss railway. Probably it is the most recognisable railway clock on earth. It stands out in simplicity, it's a timeless design. This version is a fully printable version of this clock and include simple electronics. * The dial and arms exactly match the original technical drawings. * The gears are printable. * Two small stepper motors drive the dial. * A Raspberry Pi Pico W (SCO918) on the back plane syncs wireless over WiFi with an internet time server. * The software is written in MicroPython and easy to install and modify. * A Kitronik stepper motor driver board drive the two 5V stepper motors. A simple 5V micro USB adaptor with a 2 A rating is enough to drive the mechanical parts and the electronics of clock.
