Swiss Hetzer G13
thingiverse
After World War II, Switzerland acquired 158 modified Hetzers, known as the G13 in Switzerland. This is an updated version of SSBN506's Hetzer, itself based on a Bergman model with notable changes. The modifications include: -a muzzle break borrowed from TigerAce1945's Panzer IV pack -a redesigned engine deck and exhaust system, featuring a diesel installed in 1945 -new storage compartments, incorporating wheels and tracks extracted from SSBN506's model and a new container -removal of the turret-mounted machine gun and rebuilt hatch -a new sighting device, which surprisingly printed accurately in 1/144 but not in 1/72 scale -new headlights -a telephone box installed on the rear -lowering the gun and mantelet to a more accurate position Additional details may have been overlooked, but this model still showcases the work of others. Four versions of the file are available, including a .3mf file in 1/100 scale and .stls files in 1/285, 1/144, and 1/72 scales. The Bergman heritage is evident as it prints accurately in all three scales, although a thicker gun barrel would be beneficial for microarmour gaming. A public domain image of an actual tank was obtained from Sandstein on Wikipedia, taken during the Army Days 2006 (Heerestage 2006) event in Thun.
