I envisioned crafting a pen holder, commencing with a wedge shape. Several holes would be strategically positioned to accommodate my most frequently used pens. The presence of these holes sparked an analogy to a piece of Swiss cheese, specifically Emmentaler. This notion thus took root. The design can comfortably hold six to seven standard pens with diameters up to 10.5mm and one thicker pen with a diameter up to 13.5mm. I anticipate this configuration will suffice for most users. To enhance the overall aesthetic appeal, additional details were incorporated. The pencils are easily accessible, allowing for convenient retrieval. For added stability, rubber feet can be affixed to the bottom of the holder if desired. Upon completion of the printing process, the result appeared remarkably realistic, prompting a sudden craving for an actual piece of Emmentaler cheese.
