Plugins utilized in this project: Blender Filmic - A game-changing film stock inspired render preset that takes your scene's colors and moods to the next level, check it out at https://github.com/sobotka/filmic-blender Generic Note Node is used here, if you are curious what is going on beneath the hood check out this informative Wiki article from Blender itself: https://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/Nodes/Generic_Note These custom materials built using the principled shader give an unparalleled look and feel that brings any scene to life, tailored specifically for each item you wish to render in mind. Want to put your own creative spin on it? No problem, change up the scratches texture in whatever way suits your project best; if you want some extra inspiration the whole set of scratches can be found in a folder named 'Scratches', included and waiting for your use. Creating and manipulating the many textures that go into making this masterpiece is easier than ever. Thanks to Gimp 2.8, Insane Bump came out as an easy tool to create those bump, normals and everything you'd need at a moments notice! I used unique identifiers with my folder's name that include: _n Normal maps for adding an extra touch of realisticness, _s Specular Maps for bringing your texture right down into real-life _d For creating some diffusion by simply adding color, _a Adds the subtle glow of Ambient Occlusion that no one can go wrong with, _h and brings depth like you've never seen before - also known as Height Maps. Don't forget, when tweaking the settings or tools around in this project to remember: these settings need to be altered via Empty which should help save so much stress! Working with multiple items in your scene at one time just got easier, as this scene works great within Blender's Layer function! Use those out if needed and happy to learn from you! You may also have another free tool at the ready in a 'Free Camera', do get creative with that! Also if we wanted some fresh new skies for backgrounds it was sourced through http://hdrihaven.com as this picture of our backdrop environment can always add so much detail; be it using one or even using just for adding that special magic! As said the sky itself is made from a 'HDRI license, available to you thanks for free by using CC-BY - Have any questions while rendering or anything in particular on what would get used next here? I got my ears wide open.
