This is a very rough, work-in-progress mockup for a friend who has been brainstorming ideas about multitools. Many mechanics carry three essential items on their person: a key chain or ring attached to a lanyard, a multitool, and a crescent wrench. A colleague has long been fascinated by the idea of combining two or more of these tools into one device. He ultimately wants to create a multitool that can be built into the handle of a crescent wrench, making it easy to access most small job tools without having to search for them. Others might also appreciate adding a quick detach clip to attach their key lanyard to the device. The included utensils in this mockup are placeholder models and can be replaced with actual blades, tools, keys, or other essentials. Feel free to experiment with this design, make improvements, and provide feedback.
