In a semester-long reverse engineering task utilizing SolidWorks, our team modeled a Swingline staple gun, which appeared simple but was intricate in design. We gained experience with sheet metal and forming tools, as well as animation and FEA features in SolidWorks. Kudos to Hamed AlGendy and Caitlin Boone, my project partners, and ME 5680 at Ohio State University is highly recommended for Mechanical Engineering students.
