Swing-A-Way ice crusher
thingiverse
So, this is more of a re-make than a remix. Inspired by another design I modeled the part with broken teeth on a Swing-A-Way ice crusher. Several of these plastic ice crusher devices exist and many are slightly different. For example, the one I am remixing has screw holes in different locations. Not sure if that was by design to fit the DIY hopper or if it was to match original. Also, not all bottom containers have the same shape. All of those caveats aside, this part is an excellent fit and is better than the original in terms of strength and performance. Note that this is a replacement part for the internal teeth and lid that gets screwed into the bottom of the hopper capturing the crank mechanism. I am using original capture bin which this sits on top of, original screws, original crank shaft with blades, handle, and original hopper bin with swing top. This is not a complete ice crusher, just a way to fix a broken one.
