Swimming Pool Thermometer

Swimming Pool Thermometer

thingiverse

I've yet to succeed in making this design waterproof - somehow, water always manages to seep in. I've tried using PLA and PETG, but nothing seems to work. Can you suggest any new ideas? To measure the temperature of my pool, I've been using a simple swimming thermometer. It houses a 16340 battery at its base, which is secured with a small piece of material and connected with copper tape. For electronics, I'm relying on an Arduino Pro Mini and a RFM95W module to connect via LoRa to The Things Network. A DS18B20 temperature sensor perfectly fits into the space at the bottom, where it can be anchored with glue. To ensure the screwed cap remains watertight, I've used PTFE tape.
