To attach a male ended piece to my pool's water inlet pipe, I discovered the standard 'A' female end adapter was unavailable. As a result, I decided to create my own by editing the Metric screw library (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31363) by marcaxi. Using OpenSCAD, I adjusted settings for both ends: P = 2.5, D = 59.4, h = 15 and step = 20 for the first end; P = 2.12, D = 40, h = 25, and step = 20 for the second. Finally, I combined the pieces in Tinkercad to ensure a proper fit.
