It has been updated with larger chambers to hold bigger BBs and a weight offset for improved action. Updates for Thingiverse are coming soon. Here's an impressive demonstration video of the lure by TallFishermanJ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yyEQYcagCY This lure prints in one piece and features multiple hinged sections that loosen up once bent back and forth a few times, giving it a swimming action. It also has internal chambers for adding metal BBs to create rattles. I also experimented with other lure designs, which can be seen here: http://www.jacobstanton.com/testing-out-3d-printed-fishing-lures/. Printing: This lure prints flat on its side using support material. Once printed, the support can be removed and once the lure is bent at the joints, they should loosen up. I used PLA at 0.1mm layer height with a 0.8mm shell thickness to print this lure. The red lure shown here was printed with Taulman PLA, which I found to be slightly more brittle but helped the hinges loosen up better after printing. Standard PLA works just as well. Metal BBs can be added to the internal chambers for rattling and infill to weigh down the lure. The exact diameter of the rattle chamber is 0.18in. I used a standard 15% infill with internal BBs for rattles, and the lure sank at a gentle rate. You can experiment with different infill densities to alter the sinking rate.
