Swifty - Mini FDM Printer
thingiverse
This mini printer is built around Swiffer sticks. I call it Swifty. The body frame is made from a Swiffer stick and other printed parts. At first, I tried to use old stepper motors, smooth rods, desktop switches, bearings, and timing belts from recycled printers. However, there were quality issues, so I decided to purchase specialized CNC machine parts instead. Build size: 100x120x80 (xyz) To build Swifty, you will need: Two Swiffer sticks as the frame of the machine. These sticks are sturdy and easy to handle. 1. Nema 17 stepper motor: 5 units, $35 2.
