Our Swiffer Sweeper Dry head snapped where the plastic meets the extendable aluminum shaft. After inspecting the part it appears this is weak / stress point based on sharp 90 degree bend where the diameter is reduced so the aluminum handle can slide on. I made this splint to repair the mop. I used a few drops of CA glue to make sure everything would stay nice and tight since we do not disassemble the mop down to the head. The part is not fancy but it will keep the sweeper out of the landfill for a few more years.
