This is a grid fin engineered to perfectly fit over 3 inch mailing tubes. These swept gridfins significantly reduce drag. They outperform traditional grid fins at low airspeeds. They are securely mounted and remain rigid, not folding under stress. I discovered that they function exceptionally well (even when using the folding version with no hinge). They kept my vehicle remarkably stable and upright throughout descent. It's essential to remember that these gridfins produce a considerable amount of drag, so designers should carefully consider this factor in their projects. Additionally, always point the pointed side towards the oncoming wind. These gridfins are still in the experimental phase.
