Students collaborated closely with the library to bring their geometry project to life, giving them a tangible connection between theoretical concepts and real-world applications, while also allowing them to unleash their creativity through hands-on experimentation with a 3D printer. The prints were produced on a Makerbot Mini Replicator according to standard operating procedures, utilizing a recommended extruder temperature of 215 degrees Celsius and a print speed of 30 millimeters per second, all while working exclusively with high-quality Makerbot PLA filament.
