I've chosen to build a habitat for my parakeets as the ones I found didn't take too kindly to me. You can see in the photos that it's designed to be hung from the cage door and secured using flanges or wires drilled into place. To attach the lid, you'll need three metric screws - two of which serve as an axle while the others act as a stop to keep everything locked in place. The stick is held on with an M3 screw. As it stands now, my parakeets haven't started breeding yet, but they seem to be enjoying their new home and I'm already thinking about future upgrades.
