Human: 1/100 scale The Stridsvagn 103, also known as the S-Tank, was a Swedish post-war main battle tank with an unconventional design. It featured a turretless body with a fixed gun that could be traversed by engaging the tracks and elevated by adjusting the hull suspension. Although typically classified as an assault gun or tank destroyer due to its lack of a turret, the Strv 103 is considered a full-fledged tank because it served the same combat roles as other tanks under Swedish doctrine at the time. It remains the only main battle tank and the only tank of any kind since World War II to abandon a turret. The Strv 103 was designed and manufactured in Sweden during the 1950s, marking it as the first main battle tank to utilize a turbine engine. This design choice led to a low-profile vehicle with a strong emphasis on defense and enhanced crew protection. The Swedish armored forces relied heavily on Strv 103s from the 1960s until part of the 1990s. I've attached a sketchup file for anyone who would like to create a remix of this design. Unfortunately, there are some printing issues due to certain parts being too fine. Thanks.
