sketchfab
King Gustav III of Sweden led the archipelago fleet in battles from 1789-1790, commanding two vessels: the larger schooner Amphion and a small yacht Amadis. Designed by F. H. Chapman, the Amadis resembled other single-masted relay and signal boats used by the Swedish archipelago fleet. King Gustav III stood on the Amadis just behind the frigates at the line of battle from the start of the fight. The Amadis had a single mainmast with mainsail, gallant sail, and topgallant sail behind it, along with bowsprit and spritsail in the bow. Hull dimensions: • Length at waterline: 16.63 meters (at keel 16.33 meters) • Greatest width (breadth): 5.73 meters • Greatest depth: 1.78 meters Ship 07, Swedish royal yacht Amadis, closed sails, 12.5.2020, created with programs: 3ds Max, UE4.
