This kit adds rigidity to your Wanhao i3 Plus, Monoprice Select Plus, and other similar printers. It was created after receiving my Wanhao I3 Plus, following the design of two previous braces for the Duplicator I3 V series. This mod came as a follow-up to those designs. My goal was to create a Z-Brace Mod that's easy for beginners to install without drilling or changing printer features. Do you need a rear mount z-brace? Maybe not, but it's still cool. Generally speaking, the answer is yes - a resounding yes. This rear mount functions exactly like my previous creations. It stabilizes your Z axis so it's square and doesn't vibrate, preventing ringing in prints or warping of the frame. Do you need to struggle with printing this yourself?
